There are two of these objects in the game. One is used to open the door in the
Roofed Passage to access the
Garden Shed and, ultimately, the
Courtyard. Later on when you acquire the second Stone and Metal Object by combining the
Stone Ring with the
Metal Object, you can remove the first one from its place in the
Roofed Passage. You must then use both objects on the metal gate behind the stairs in the
Main Hall to access the
Altar.
