This piece of jewellery is used within the "Flashback" scenario. If you wait in the forest long enough for the suspension bridge to collapse, you will find a little girl in the river bank area of the forest, with her mother located in the cabin. In order for the little girl to trust you, you will receive this off the mother, and when you next speak to the girl she will return to the cabin and you will receive a reward.
